I know it is Sesame street but it puts this topic into a serious context. Based on your knowledge of how you respond to stimuli (the anatomy of neurones, how and where nerve impulses travel) why does Christopher Reeve (actor who played superman) need to use the wheelchair? Sadly Christopher Reeve died in 2004.
Also, have a think about why he might have felt the need to address children about his disability?
